Welcome to Scrollet! Our mission is to be a space for creativity, laughter, and connection. These guidelines are here to ensure that everyone can express themselves safely and respectfully. By using Scrollet, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Our Core Principles

• Share Creatively & Respectfully: We're here for your jokes, memes, and stories. Express yourself, but be mindful of the diverse global community you are sharing with.
• Keep It Safe for Everyone: Safety is our top priority. We are a platform for all ages, and we will actively remove content that threatens, endangers, or harms our users.
• Foster Genuine Connections: Authenticity matters. We prohibit spam, scams, and other deceptive practices that undermine the trust within our community.

The Specifics: What to Avoid

To protect our community, we do not allow content that falls into the following categories. This is not an exhaustive list, and we reserve the right to remove any content we deem inappropriate.

Hate Speech

Scrollet has a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech. We define this as any content that promotes violence, discrimination, disparagement, or hatred against individuals or groups based on their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic associated with systemic discrimination.

Harassment & Bullying

We do not tolerate targeted harassment, abuse, threats, or bullying of individuals. This includes unwanted sexual content, posting private information, or encouraging others to harass a user.

Self-Harm & Dangerous Acts

We will remove content that encourages or glorifies suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders. We also prohibit content that depicts or promotes dangerous acts or challenges that could lead to serious physical harm.

Nudity & Sexual Content

We are a platform for a general audience. We prohibit sexually explicit content, including pornography and content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.

Violence & Graphic Content

We prohibit threats of violence against individuals or groups. We will remove content that glorifies violence or depicts extreme gore to shock or disgust others.

Spam, Scams & Misleading Content

Do not create content that is designed to deceive or mislead others for financial gain or to disrupt their experience. This includes phishing, scams, and spreading harmful misinformation, especially related to health or civic processes.

Impersonation & Copyright

Do not impersonate other individuals or organizations in a deceptive manner. You are also responsible for the content you post. Respect copyright and only share content that you have created or have the right to share.

How We Enforce These Rules

We use a combination of automated AI detection and human review to identify and act on content that violates these guidelines. Actions we may take include:

• Removing the violating content.
• Sending a warning to the user.
• Temporarily suspending an account.
• Permanently banning an account for severe or repeated violations.

How You Can Help

You are a vital part of keeping the Scrollet community safe. Please use the tools we've built to help us:

• Report: If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. Each report is reviewed and helps us take action quickly.
• Block: If another user is making you feel uncomfortable, you can block them. This will prevent them from seeing your content or interacting with you.
• Not Interested: If you see content you simply don't like, use the "Not Interested" option. This helps teach our algorithm to show you more of what you love and less of what you don't.
